INDOOR RULES
SCHEDULE
Teams will play on Saturday and/or Sunday. 70% of Games on Saturday. 30% of Games on Sunday or vis versa. Teams must have a flexible schedule in order to enter. If you have more than 2 teams we will try to put your games one after another but sometimes you must wait 1, 2 or 3 games or play on separate day. Once schedule is released there are no changes (unless league error). If a team cancels too many games and does not finish all their games before regular season is over their position will stay as is on the standings.
PSCL will not accept any requests for Semi-Finals & Finals.
No Show Team : 0-3 match (No Re-scheduling) $120*
REGISTRATION
All teams should bring their game-sheets to the scoreboard table. If game-sheets are not brought to the table- this will result in loss of points, game will not be playerd and a penalty will be given. Player not registered and not on the game-sheet cannot play. Starting week 5.
- Teams are allowed only 14 players (Included in Registration fee).
- Additional player fee: $50 each
- Player Transfer fee: $50 each (No transfer accepted after TBA. ) Fee must be paid by by team receiving the player to the team releasing the player.
If teams are caught using over age player. You will lose points & penalty fee must be paid before being scheduled.
***Girls are allowed to play only one year up on ONLY.***
Ex: 2007-2008 category is allowed to have girl player born in 2006.
Ex: 2009-2010 category is allowed to have girl player born in 2008.
Ex: 2011-2012 category is allowed to have girl player born in 2010.
Ex: 2013-2014 category is allowed to have girl player born in 2012.
Ex: 2015-2016 category is allowed to have girl player born in 2014.
Ex: 2017-2018 category is allowed to have girl player born in 2016.
Ex: 2019-2020 category is allowed to have girl player born in 2018.
- Age protest fee: $100 if you win the case fee will be returned.
- No show fee: $120
- Registration fee: You won't be schedule until full payment has been received.
- Provide a Jersey number as soon as possible.
PSCL is not responsible for the goals the referee dictates on the game-sheet. Any complaints must only be made by the Coach/Manager.
Games will start at the indicated time on schedule.
Team warm-ups are allowed in the change rooms only.
Teams are not allowed to warm-up on the hallways for any reason.
FEES:
- No shows, forfeit, cancelation, category switch & drop-out of game will result in $120 penalty fee per game due on Sunday of game week in addition to point loss.
- If a club has 2 teams 1 in group A & 1 in group B the players cannot play on both teams. Player can only play in one group.
- If club has 2 teams & both are in 1 group player cannot play in both teams.
CALL UP:
1) The player who is called-up can only play for one team per day
2) 3 Call-ups max!
PSCL GAME RULES
1. Player Requirements
• To begin a match, each team must have:
- Minimum of 3 players from the 2017/2018 to 2011/2012 age groups.
- Minimum of 4 players for the 2019/2020 age group.
• Matches must start at the scheduled time, regardless of team readiness.
2. Match Format
• Games consist of two 20-minute halves (20x20 minutes).
• Halftime lasts 2 minutes.
• Once the referee signals, play must resume immediately.
5 V 5 : 2009-2018 | 6V6 : 2019-2020
3. Rosters & Player Eligibility
• Starting Week 3, all teams must submit an official player list at the table before each match.
• Once a player is listed, they cannot be removed unless a $50 transfer fee is paid.
• Only the head coach, assistant coach, and rostered players are permitted on the team bench — no exceptions.
4. Game Timing
• If a team is not ready at the scheduled time, the game clock will start anyway. Only the first game will be given a 5-minute grace period.
• The match will proceed with the remaining time once play begins.
• All teams must follow the league schedule (7:15AM– 8:00 PM on Saturdays & Sundays).
• Friday games may be scheduled if necessary.
5. Kickoff & Free Kicks
• At kickoff, the opposing team must remain behind the second line of the rectangle.
• All free kicks are direct, including from kickoff — goals may be scored directly.
• Opponents must stay behind the two lines of the center circle during kickoff.
6. Set Plays
• For direct free kicks and corner kicks, opposing players must stand 6 steps away (yellow card if not).
• Throw-ins are taken using the feet, with opponents standing 4 steps away.
7. Tackling & Penalties
• Slide tackles are allowed at the referee’s discretion.
• Penalty kicks:
- 8 steps for 2017/2018–2011/2012 age groups.
- 7 steps for 2019/2020 age group.
8. Goalkeeper Rules
• The goalkeeper’s area is marked by the three-point line.
• For goal kicks, the goalkeeper must release the ball with their hands.
• The ball is in play once it touches the ground.
• Opponents must remain outside the area until the ball is in play.
• The goalkeeper may not throw the ball directly into the opposing penalty area (goal kick awarded).
• A goalkeeper may score directly from a goal kick but must be touched at least once before entering the goal.
• A goalkeeper can score from live play
9. Field Conduct
• No one is allowed behind the goals during a match.
• Anyone found there will be asked to leave.
• Continued behavior will result in the team being penalized.
• Exception: In the 2019/2020 category, one designated team representative may be behind the goal.
10. Disciplinary Actions
• Two yellow cards in the same game = 1-match suspension.
• A direct red card results in a suspension based on the referee’s report.
• If a player is sent off (red card), the team must play 5 minutes with one fewer player.
